Simple teriyaki
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons sake (optional)
- Knob of ginger (grated)
Method
- Set saucepan over a medium heat, bring to a simmer and cook 2-3 minutes until sugar has dissolved and sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove from heat and cool.
